Acting as an Everloom Executor

Once you've accepted an invitation to act as an Everloom Executor for someone you will be able to help manage their Everloom after their death.

Executors can:

  • Set your deceased date in your biography

  • Add a Death Chapter to your Everloom

  • Review and approve new Memory submissions

Executors cannot:

  • Edit existing content on your Everloom

Memorializing an Everloom

If someone has passed away you can Memorialize their Everloom by adding the date of their death. 

Before You Memorialize an Everloom
  • This action will not send a notification to anyone on Everloom. 
  • Once an Everloom is Memorialized only an Everloom's owner or collaborator can undo the action.

How to Memorialize an Everloom
  • Go to the Everloom you wish to Memorialize

  • Click Manage​

  • Click After Life

  • Click Memorialize

  • Enter the date of the person's death

  • Click Send Request

  • Click Save

Adding a Chapter for Death

After someone has passed away and their Everloom has been memorialized Executors can add a Chapter about the person's death.

How to Add a Chapter for Death
  • Go to the Everloom

    Click Manage​

  • Click After Life

  • Click Manage Chapter

  • Add a Chapter for their Death

    • You will only be able to use the Death Chapter Guide

    • As with other chapters you can

      • Save the Chapter as a draft and return to it at a later time to finish it

      • Publish it when ready

      • Edit it after it has been published

Managing Memories

Managing Memories as an Executor works the same way as managing them for any other Everloom.

Review Executor Status

You can see a list of the Everlooms you are an Executor for in your Account Settings.
