Biography
The Biography section of an Everloom includes basic biographical information about a person such as their name, birthday, and birthplace. If a person is deceased their Biography can be updated to include the date of their death.
To edit a Biography press the Edit button next to Biography.
Biography Photo
You can add or update your biography photo by editing your biography. After choosing the image you want to use you can use the slider to zoom in on the photo. You can reorient the photo by clicking and dragging it.
We suggest choosing a photo the features only the subject of an Everloom so that it's clear who the Everloom is about.
Birth Name
Your Biography will list your birth name for historical purposes, but if you happen to go by a different name you can enter it into the preferred name field. Your Biography will still list your birth name, but your preferred name will be displayed to connections on Everloom.
Gender
Adding your gender is optional. At this time gender is not shown on your Everloom but we may use it for writing account notifications and communications with the associated pronouns.
Pronouns
Adding your pronouns is optional. At this time they are not shown on your Everloom. We may use the listed pronouns for account notifications and communications.
Birthplace
Typically when documenting family history a person's birthplace is listed as the city in which they were born.
