A free Everloom is great for people who are looking to try Everloom out without making a commitment or for a family member who isn't interested in writing their own Everloom at this time, but who wants to see their family's Everlooms. A free Everloom is also a good choice for people who have limited biographical information or limited photos or videos (like a great great ancestor) because the number of Chapters and words per Chapter are limited. An Everloom Plus is the right choice for someone who has a full biography and many photos or videos to share.

Everloom pricing represents a one time fee per Everloom so you will only be billed once.

You can upgrade from a free Everloom to and Everloom Plus at any time. You can also purchase additional storage at any time. The only thing you can't do is downgrade your storage. If you purchase 10GB of extra storage but only use 5GB we won't be able to offer a refund for the difference.

It all depends on the size of the media you're planning to upload. Scans of older photos may be less than 1MB (megabyte) whereas photos taken with a modern camera can be up to 10MB or more. If you're planning to upload more than 20 or 30 photos we'd recommend purchasing an Everloom Plus. If you're planning on uploading photos and videos we'd recommend purchasing an Everloom Plus and then upgrading your storage as you use space.

Expandable storage lets you buy more storage for your Everloom so that you can add more photos, videos, and audio files. Expandable storage is only available for Everloom Plus.

We're not shy to admit that our price per GB is more than what cloud storage services like Apple, Google, and Dropbox charge. However, those services require a monthly payment and once you stop paying for their service they will delete your media. Everloom charges more per GB only once and we'll continue to store your Everloom for generations to come. We want you to pass your memories and media on to your family and not the price to store them.
