Chapters

An Everloom is made up of Chapters that simplify the writing and reading of a person’s life story.

Within each Chapter there is a section for writing text and a Chapter Album for adding media such as photos, videos, and audio recordings that are related to the chapter topic.​

How to Add a Chapter

  • Click the Chapters tab

  • Click Edit Chapters

  • Click Add Chapter

Chapter Guides & Tips

After adding a new Chapter you will have the option to select a Chapter Guide. Our Chapter Guides cover a range of topics that can help you decide what to write about in your Everloom. You can also select the Other/Custom option to start from scratch.

Many Chapter Guides come with a selection of Chapter Tips. Whereas Chapter Guides help you understand the topics to include in your Everloom, Chapter Tips are designed to help get you thinking about the specifics of each Chapter. 

Some Chapter Guides also include a set of suggested headers to help make longer Chapters easier to read and navigate. You can use the suggested headers or delete them an add your own.
